Bracelets with love

I made a couple of bracelets recently with the things that I got in my craft haul. I'm not going to say any more but show you pictures instead which I think you guys would prefer.
These bracelets are really simple and because they are thin, it's really nice when you wear a couple of different colours together.
This bracelet has different charms hanging and I match the colours to be similar with each other. This has a little bohemian style to it. What do you think? I saw some pics online so I tried making one myself.
I made use of beads this time round. I actually learn this from a tutorial on YouTube. I added a little heart button as the "hook" for the bracelet.
I simply love this! I saw this kind of styles online so I had to do it. I actually made mistakes but you can't see it right? Not bad for the first time.
I like the colour of the beads in this one. This is one of the few I made first and was quite frustrating cause I kept getting it wrong at first and had to redo it.
Flower bracelet! I wanted to do a bracelet using the flowers I got and this is what came out. i like how it is but kinda flower girl-ish right?
I been seeing pictures of people wearing like flower crowns so I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to braid them in the hair like the picture above (Sorry for the blur picture but I cut my hair yesterday and its slightly shorter now). But people have been telling me "Will anyone wear this out?". Will you?

So which one do you like most? Do leave a comment and tell me what you think. I will really appreciate it!

DIY: Clay in the Jar

Yesterday, I chanced upon one book in the library that showed the different techniques to make flowers and plants. So I thought of making different plants and flower and put them inside the jar like those water plants you can find outside.

I must say I'm please with how it looks like but I do have some problems with it too which I will say later. But this is how I made it and I'm calling it "Clay in the jar", mainly because the things that I am going to put in are made of clay.
Time: Depending on individual
Things needed: A Jar (any size)
                         Wire
Oven-baked clay (colours depending on what you are making)
                         Clay tools (optional)
                         Acrylic paint
                         Brush
                         Scissors
                         Sand or pebbles
                         Chopstick
First of you want to do this first cause you have to wait for it to dry. Squeeze out the paint colour of your choice and paint the lid carefully place a magazine below to avoid getting paint on your table.
When you are done, leave it to dry.
Start working on you clay figures that you want to place inside your jar. I learn how to make this from the book I borrowed. you also want to make sure that what you make can fit in the jar.
Bake your clay and leave it to cool. While waiting, get your sand or pebbles and fill it to where you want it to be. I'm using sand cause I happen to have them at home but I personally feel that pebbles will look better (Just my opinion).
Carefully add in your clay figurines in, use the chopstick to help shift the things in place and you are done!

My theme is that a two mushrooms living in the dark musky place finally found a gorgeous flower. I like the way it turned out.

Okay, this is my problem. the things inside move around whenever I move it from one place to another so I can't give this as gifts or anything cause it's bound to be destroy by the time it reaches the receiver. I'm not so sure if pebbles will be better since the pieces are big and chunky.

If anyone have any idea how I can make the sand and figurines stay in place do leave a comment below and share with me! Thanks!

DIY:Molecule necklace

Hey all, I just came back from my holiday and spent quite a bit cause they were having a sale! But I'm finally back and with a new DIY post so read on!

I was surfing the net for different pictures on accessories and chanced upon this necklace. So I thought "I have to do this." Since I will be doing the necklace why not do a post on how to do this awesome necklace. I went down to Chinatown to get what I need to start on this necklace.
This necklaces are called molecule necklace cause of all the hoops. If you search online, you can actually find more designs.
Let's get started!

Time: 1 hour
Things needed: Hoop beads
                         Pliers
                         Chain (1 Meter)
                         Jump rings (2)
                         Lobster clasp (1)
                         Thin wire (any colour)
Take two hoops and put them together.
Using the wire, start to twine it around the two hoops as shown in the picture.
After you have twine the wire around horizontally for a few rounds, using the same wire, move it vertically.
Using the pliers, pull the wire to secure it. cut of the excess wire and use the pliers to press it done cause you don't want to get scratched by wires protruding out.
The wire has to form a cross to hold the two hoops together.
Be sure to attach all the places that the hoops touch each other with the wire.
Try arranging the hoops as you go along so you have a picture of how you want the necklace to be. After you are pleased with the design, attach them with the wire.
When you are done attaching the hoops, it is now time to attach the chain. Measure how long you want the necklace to be and attach the both ends using a wire. (Where the arrow points.)
To attach the chain to the hoop, use the wire and hoop it onto the chain.
Twirl the shorter part of the wire around the longer side.
Using the longer wire, twine it around the hoop a few times.
Twine the wire around the middle wire between the hoop and the chain to secure it. Cut of the excess wire. Do these few steps for the other side of the chain.
Add a lobster clasp on one side of the chain and a jump ring at the other side of the chain.
And you are done!
Where this necklace with a plain top since the necklace has colours on it.

I hope you guys enjoy this and do leave a comment on what you think. I will be be posting another post on things that I have been working on recently. Have Fun!

* I take no credit for this design.

Craft haul one

This post is going to be what I bought on Wednesday. I bought a couple of things not to many but had a great time buying supplies that I need for some crafts that I want to try. I will do a post on the things I have worked on later. This are the things that I have bought! *beams*.
I bought a couple of charms to make some bracelets. I really like the bronze coloured ones so I bought a couple more of the same colour. See the anchor there? Its actually a button. Super cute!
I only bought one chain and guess what? Regret. I should have bought more. I made a mistake thinking that I had more at home but I didn't. I forgot to bring my list of things to buy as well. Forgetful me!
Some key chains as well as rings.
Threads. But I can't start doing anything with this until I get more chains.
Cords! I guess seeing this you will be able to guess what I am currently learning to do.
Bought beads for the bracelets. I will be doing a tutorial using the hoop like beads inspired by one of the jewellery I saw online. So stay tune!
Last but not least, Ribbons. I chance upon this shop selling these adorable ribbons and I couldn't resist. Who can?

This sums up what I bought overall. I will be going on a holiday and be back by Wednesday and will be working on more crafts and DIY. Will do a post on the things I make as well as the tutorial when I am back!
