<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-a7zQ5rIixD4/VBlPjcP_93I/AAAAAAAAB90/CNy6QydMuEY/s1600/DSC_1343.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-a7zQ5rIixD4/VBlPjcP_93I/AAAAAAAAB90/CNy6QydMuEY/s1600/DSC_1343.JPG" height="450" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Today's tutorial will be on mini macarons. I love love how macarons look and taste, so it no doubt that I have to make them. I'm not too good at baking so I can only make them using clay. The macarons are small but simple to make and you only need one tool. Let's get started!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Things you need:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IhRxou6P1iU/VBlPSWipquI/AAAAAAAAB70/Y48lvYv9B3M/s1600/DSC_1323.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IhRxou6P1iU/VBlPSWipquI/AAAAAAAAB70/Y48lvYv9B3M/s1600/DSC_1323.JPG" height="416" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">-One coloured clay (The colour you want your macarons to be)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">-White clay</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">-A needle tool</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">-An oven</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hKdemItphb4/VBlPdVx6MFI/AAAAAAAAB8M/xTMVG1bYnnE/s1600/DSC_1325.JPG" height="434" width="640" /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The first step is to create two small balls from the coloured clay (I'm using pastel pink). Make sure both are as even as possible. The sizes of the ball depends on how big you want your macarons to be.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z9HA0XAmRiQ/VBlPddUpS7I/AAAAAAAAB8Q/_CkyxFQCqas/s1600/DSC_1326.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z9HA0XAmRiQ/VBlPddUpS7I/AAAAAAAAB8Q/_CkyxFQCqas/s1600/DSC_1326.JPG" height="434" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Next lightly press the ball down to create a flat circle.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FMeUCjyUOv8/VBlPdfJUaMI/AAAAAAAAB8I/vcBrLN7He-4/s1600/DSC_1327.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FMeUCjyUOv8/VBlPdfJUaMI/AAAAAAAAB8I/vcBrLN7He-4/s1600/DSC_1327.JPG" height="416" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Which should look like this. Don't make it too flat.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Y9nZ41ZBsXo/VBlPeQGGErI/AAAAAAAAB8w/o8UAUl8OaZw/s1600/DSC_1329.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Y9nZ41ZBsXo/VBlPeQGGErI/AAAAAAAAB8w/o8UAUl8OaZw/s1600/DSC_1329.JPG" height="434" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Use the side of the needle tool to press the sides down lightly.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Ms-JBWX5fJo/VBlPeEnBUCI/AAAAAAAAB8c/B3Hddtwu0yY/s1600/DSC_1328.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Ms-JBWX5fJo/VBlPeEnBUCI/AAAAAAAAB8c/B3Hddtwu0yY/s1600/DSC_1328.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">It should have a little dent like this. Do this step all around the side of the clay.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cbHDS4m3gx4/VBlPexIIqJI/AAAAAAAAB8s/H8k-jVgk5Ec/s1600/DSC_1331.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cbHDS4m3gx4/VBlPexIIqJI/AAAAAAAAB8s/H8k-jVgk5Ec/s1600/DSC_1331.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The clay should now look like it has been divided into two.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--LNKTuuE598/VBlPf32xWZI/AAAAAAAAB84/STYUp0AgZ4A/s1600/DSC_1333.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--LNKTuuE598/VBlPf32xWZI/AAAAAAAAB84/STYUp0AgZ4A/s1600/DSC_1333.JPG" height="430" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">After you have formed a straight line around the side of the clay, use the needle tool and poke the bottom half of the clay. Lightly poke and use circular motions to create look of the macaron after it has been baked.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RLHpEa8Tuik/VBlR2iorY-I/AAAAAAAAB-Y/EaoShxue1wY/s1600/DSC_132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RLHpEa8Tuik/VBlR2iorY-I/AAAAAAAAB-Y/EaoShxue1wY/s1600/DSC_132.JPG" height="414" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">There should be little small holes but they cannot be too deep.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cbHDS4m3gx4/VBlPexIIqJI/AAAAAAAAB8s/H8k-jVgk5Ec/s1600/DSC_1331.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1rAEppjel_Q/VBlPgasj8yI/AAAAAAAAB9A/oTt9C_IZenc/s1600/DSC_1334.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1rAEppjel_Q/VBlPgasj8yI/AAAAAAAAB9A/oTt9C_IZenc/s1600/DSC_1334.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">And you're done with one side of the macaron. Now just repeat the same steps for the other side.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-P98FHDgWFI0/VBlPg44qZ_I/AAAAAAAAB9I/J1zHQDMr7g8/s1600/DSC_1335.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-P98FHDgWFI0/VBlPg44qZ_I/AAAAAAAAB9I/J1zHQDMr7g8/s1600/DSC_1335.JPG" height="420" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">You should have two sides now!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RE83SQ7oyCU/VBlPhW1_7sI/AAAAAAAAB94/UWOZZPQ9rnc/s1600/DSC_1336.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RE83SQ7oyCU/VBlPhW1_7sI/AAAAAAAAB94/UWOZZPQ9rnc/s1600/DSC_1336.JPG" height="422" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Next, take a small piece of white clay. This will be a filling for the macaron.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j5M8mEV1bRA/VBlPh_i6nAI/AAAAAAAAB9Y/Q_7FsioMuT4/s1600/DSC_1337.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j5M8mEV1bRA/VBlPh_i6nAI/AAAAAAAAB9Y/Q_7FsioMuT4/s1600/DSC_1337.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Press it down lightly and it should be the same size as your macaron.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Cc7oeYPDGgk/VBlPiZ_g5tI/AAAAAAAAB9o/03v9hf0zvPY/s1600/DSC_1338.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Cc7oeYPDGgk/VBlPiZ_g5tI/AAAAAAAAB9o/03v9hf0zvPY/s1600/DSC_1338.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Put them on top of one another.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vtbl8KEldVI/VBlPitsAwlI/AAAAAAAAB9s/ln7NZUpzH8E/s1600/DSC_1341.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vtbl8KEldVI/VBlPitsAwlI/AAAAAAAAB9s/ln7NZUpzH8E/s1600/DSC_1341.JPG" height="436" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">For the last step, lightly press them down together. Look at it as you press and you will slowly see it taking the form of a macaron!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UfSgz9IBo24/VBlPjEZIRxI/AAAAAAAAB98/_Q86b8vyX5k/s1600/DSC_1342.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UfSgz9IBo24/VBlPjEZIRxI/AAAAAAAAB98/_Q86b8vyX5k/s1600/DSC_1342.JPG" height="424" width="640" /></span></a></div>

I got really busy with work and there was simply was no time to do any crafting. I'm sad... But.... I recently manage to create a few little things and they are up and selling on my Etsy shop. If you want to visit my shop it can be found on the top bar: Shop. If not search for Gemnesis!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">These are the five things that are up right now:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hHZ9dFgWxaE/VBbducnNP8I/AAAAAAAAB7A/TnXgoHGxfPo/s1600/DSC_1207.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" height="432" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hHZ9dFgWxaE/VBbducnNP8I/AAAAAAAAB7A/TnXgoHGxfPo/s1600/DSC_1207.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">I'm calling her Mika. It took me such a long time to get this right. Maybe I should do a post on how my clay dolls change. For some reason, I can't get them to look as nice as the ones I see on tutorials and I don't want to copy the whole style. So it took me some time to get things right.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G-vrBH6dSOk/VBbd07XykfI/AAAAAAAAB7I/kd_wZ-Ht330/s1600/DSC_1209.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" height="456" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G-vrBH6dSOk/VBbd07XykfI/AAAAAAAAB7I/kd_wZ-Ht330/s1600/DSC_1209.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Mini macaroons in a jar!!! Okay wait for it.... *SCREEEAAMMSSS* I love how this turn out! I'm a sucker for pastels and I love how cute it looks! I must say I almost died at the fifth macaroons but I persevered and it gave me fabulous results!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hzTB42tddcE/VBbd8-OYnkI/AAAAAAAAB7Q/SyVG164UaDk/s1600/DSC_1211.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hzTB42tddcE/VBbd8-OYnkI/AAAAAAAAB7Q/SyVG164UaDk/s1600/DSC_1211.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">The idea seemed cute at first.. you know.... tiny bears in jar. Unntill..... after putting them in, people have been telling me they felt sad for the bears squeezing in the small jar. What do you think?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IYUvD-IyRZ4/VBbeF5R2MVI/AAAAAAAAB7Y/l6yUwz-JKa8/s1600/DSC_1279.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" height="446" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IYUvD-IyRZ4/VBbeF5R2MVI/AAAAAAAAB7Y/l6yUwz-JKa8/s1600/DSC_1279.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">I always create bracelets using the materials as you see in the picture so I decided to go for a change and made a necklace instead. I must say, It always looked good and a bracelet but I'm loving how this looks as a necklace. Just like a statement piece.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8ykhTAZCBiE/VBbeLZ_GLVI/AAAAAAAAB7g/H4feR0r6lb0/s1600/DSC_1292.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img border="0" height="432" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8ykhTAZCBiE/VBbeLZ_GLVI/AAAAAAAAB7g/H4feR0r6lb0/s1600/DSC_1292.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">The last one that I uploaded was this hand drawn birthday cake cameo setting necklace. I'm not too good at drawing so this was actually collaborated with my friend. We managed to sell a few of this at the flea the last time. These necklaces are really unique and I absolutely love them.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">I hope I can post more and update my Etsy more. I'll try!! But in the mean time I would really appreciate it if you can Like my shop facebook page and instagram. I would be really thankful!</span><br />

Did the flea three days ago at the National Museum of Singapore with public garden. At awesome time there. it turn out better than I expected! Had lots of fun doing this flea. The most fun I had out of all the fleas I did! I got a good space, the crowd was good and I had lots of people who came down to help and support me. Thank you!<br />
<br />
It was nice to see people liking my stuff and buying them with a smile on their face. I will definitely want to have a flea with public garden again maybe sometime round June if they have one. Seems like they have it every month.<br />

I have been lazy and out of inspiration, if not, I don have the materials to create the necklaces I have in mind.<br />
<br />
Recently, I was browsing online when I saw pastries made of polymer clay. There were tutorials online so I manage to get tips on how to make certain texture and different methods that can be used. I got down to creating some of my favourite pastries! Here's the pictures!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jSUH9anbCHo/UVrd6lNushI/AAAAAAAABvk/J-cMPWLUlsA/s1600/SAM_0392.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jSUH9anbCHo/UVrd6lNushI/AAAAAAAABvk/J-cMPWLUlsA/s640/SAM_0392.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RlbD96LmWrQ/UVreA6tkHTI/AAAAAAAABvs/Ih_Se1wt0X4/s1600/SAM_0393.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="446" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RlbD96LmWrQ/UVreA6tkHTI/AAAAAAAABvs/Ih_Se1wt0X4/s640/SAM_0393.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
CREAM PUFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay calm down.... There wasn't a tutorial that showed me how to make a nice cream puff so I kind of did this myself. I thought it was quite a job well done, not the best, but good. Sadly people told me it looks like hamburger, donut, don't know what that is. Don't look like cream puffs?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W-3T99_aPkw/UVreBywJFaI/AAAAAAAABv4/ijjXepADPk0/s1600/SAM_0394.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W-3T99_aPkw/UVreBywJFaI/AAAAAAAABv4/ijjXepADPk0/s640/SAM_0394.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Bag5ette in a basket. I actually saw this tutorials to make the baguette long ago. But guess what? I was too lazy, too lazy to get the aluminum foil. Yeah cause on a piece of foil I took a long time to this. But I finally did and looks not bad right? Added a little small ribbon at the side of the basket.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vsHxZBoDubs/UVrePdKQ-CI/AAAAAAAABwY/IzxX0y-PwpA/s1600/SAM_0398.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="488" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vsHxZBoDubs/UVrePdKQ-CI/AAAAAAAABwY/IzxX0y-PwpA/s640/SAM_0398.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Donuts. Okay I made donuts before so I have nothing much to say. But three-tier donuts!!! Who wants it?!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="432" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nFp41zKeo_w/UVreSkYyzpI/AAAAAAAABwg/4I_Fzn79vcA/s640/SAM_0399.JPG" width="640" /> </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Made this pretty macaroon and did some designs on it. Who wants their edible macaroons to look like this?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NRbwTTlNhaI/UVreK8b6WqI/AAAAAAAABwQ/-psKaWM2u-Q/s1600/SAM_0397.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NRbwTTlNhaI/UVreK8b6WqI/AAAAAAAABwQ/-psKaWM2u-Q/s640/SAM_0397.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Made some Swiss rolls. Green tea flavoured with vanilla cream with strawberries. Two to be earrings and one to be a dust cap.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Yo7QV-nR3iU/UVreZYWihNI/AAAAAAAABww/GFhgWTJttqc/s1600/SAM_0402.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Yo7QV-nR3iU/UVreZYWihNI/AAAAAAAABww/GFhgWTJttqc/s320/SAM_0402.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Made the sweet bracelet and added a Swiss roll to it. I love it! It looks so cute.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Most of the charms I made will become key chains. I'm looking for a good flea like maybe specialized in handmade crafts. If anyone know of one in Singapore, let me know! </div>

I've something to tell you all today! I recently created a YouTube account to post video tutorial especially polymer clay tutorials cause a lot of photos are need for them. I guess it can also help you to see how certain steps are done.<br />
<br />
I had lots of problems filming the first one because of my camera as well as when I was editing the video cause I have never done so before. You won't here my voice only because I find it awkward talking to the camera. I've tried and trust me. It didn't turn out great.<br />
<br />
Well, it's my first time so please do tell me what you think about. Subscribe to my channel if you want to see more. But be for the video here's a picture of what I will be teaching you.<br />

Knowing me I wouldn't leave it undecorated. I grabbed my cabochons and started straight at work.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;">WARNING: This isn't the cheapest way to decorate your things. Don't say I didn't warn you. Do this only if you are willing to spent the money.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"></span><br />
<span style="color: black;">I add on suggestions on cheaper methods later. Let's get started!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qJNcYXSl4Og/UTst6s1PFsI/AAAAAAAABss/x2vACFObfJo/s1600/SAM_0287.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qJNcYXSl4Og/UTst6s1PFsI/AAAAAAAABss/x2vACFObfJo/s640/SAM_0287.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need:<br />
-Mirror<br />
-Cabochons<br />
-Clay canes<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
-Rhinestones<br />
-Beads<br />
-Icing tip<br />
-Silicone<br />
-Plastic bag<br />
-Tape<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fkychj53_Og/UTst7wrZ7oI/AAAAAAAABtA/_XivC9uMHfE/s1600/SAM_0291.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fkychj53_Og/UTst7wrZ7oI/AAAAAAAABtA/_XivC9uMHfE/s640/SAM_0291.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Start of by getting your mirror and placing your cabochons on the top. This is to help you decide on your design. You can choose to do impromptu but if you ruin it, that's it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JsUhfPqQ4nc/UTst8imRuPI/AAAAAAAABtI/RFrhBi9D0PA/s1600/SAM_0292.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JsUhfPqQ4nc/UTst8imRuPI/AAAAAAAABtI/RFrhBi9D0PA/s640/SAM_0292.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Yc3_i27dcjE/UTst9eOoqtI/AAAAAAAABtQ/pkDbzxRcaQA/s1600/SAM_0294.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Yc3_i27dcjE/UTst9eOoqtI/AAAAAAAABtQ/pkDbzxRcaQA/s640/SAM_0294.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mfiEoIHfGOA/UTst98fMmkI/AAAAAAAABto/zytc7iU2fMY/s1600/SAM_0295.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mfiEoIHfGOA/UTst98fMmkI/AAAAAAAABto/zytc7iU2fMY/s640/SAM_0295.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This process can take quite a while so be patient. Take a picture of it for you to refer. You final product might end up exactly like you plan cause there bound to be changes as you make.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RUeRjVU_kTU/UTst-Ju-GVI/AAAAAAAABtc/CJO_OXG5QsY/s1600/SAM_0296.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RUeRjVU_kTU/UTst-Ju-GVI/AAAAAAAABtc/CJO_OXG5QsY/s640/SAM_0296.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
After your done deciding, place the icing tip at the tip by cutting a small hole at the side. Tape it down and fill it with silicone.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hVPryIHF9E8/UUG9c1SQ2TI/AAAAAAAABuA/O9yRa1sVXhw/s1600/SAM_0298.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hVPryIHF9E8/UUG9c1SQ2TI/AAAAAAAABuA/O9yRa1sVXhw/s640/SAM_0298.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DKZGRURnaL0/UUG9eb81Q3I/AAAAAAAABuI/hMWTCDh7c4g/s1600/SAM_0300.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DKZGRURnaL0/UUG9eb81Q3I/AAAAAAAABuI/hMWTCDh7c4g/s640/SAM_0300.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Start of with the boarder. Do this slowly and use the same amount of strength to make sure that it is consistent, Fill in the center. You can choose the same way as the boarder to fill the center but I went with this method cause it's less time consuming and it will be covered by the cabochons. Proceed to putting your cabochons and remember to refer back to the pictures you took.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now for the final product!</div>

.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

DONE! Just be aware that using this many cabochons will make the mirror heavy thus not very suitable to be brought everywhere. <br />
<br />
But here are some ways to lighten it as well as a cheaper way to do so:<br />
-Head down to the beads shop and get different kinds of beads that you adore. Minimise the number of cabochons used and use beads instead.<br />
-Use any old figurines or charms from your jewellery that you do not wear any more instead of buying them.<br />
-Make the border at the side bigger and decorate it with rhinestones and clay canes instead.,. Place cabochons only in the center.<br />
-Get some clay and make your own cabochons!<br />

Does this look like a cauliflower? People have been telling me so.</div>

I got the materials needed cause my father offered to help me make one but he never got around doing it. Thus, the materials stayed in my drawers for the longest time. <br />
<br />
My father finally taught me to use the sewing machine a few years back but I continued sitting on the idea of making my bear. I finally had the urge and mood to make one so I went round searching for a suitable bear template online. My mother even told me "you sure you know how to make it." Well, If I don't try I never know.<br />
<br />
My first attempt wasn't much of a success because stupid me decided to hand sew it instead of using the sewing machine which I was capable of using. I hand sewed the whole bear and had to struggle with the body and all. Being my first time, I wasn't sure how to do it so I did it anyhow hoping it would turn out right. Wanna see the picture? See it now!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6H-5rFU6To8/UTdBclWfunI/AAAAAAAABnk/4QaQuFInBOc/s1600/SAM_0266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6H-5rFU6To8/UTdBclWfunI/AAAAAAAABnk/4QaQuFInBOc/s640/SAM_0266.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
HAHAHAHA!!! Don't blame you if you laughed. Looks like what? A flying monkey with a bear head. Eh, but if you look at it another way, it's not bad right. Looks unique, it's hand sewn, you will never find another like this. If you are wondering about the hands I sew it the wrong what and only realised like after I stuffed everything.<br />
<br />
Okay now moving on to the next bear. I wanted to make a proper bear like really a proper bear. I went to find another template cause I crushed my old template completely blaming it for the plight of my previous bear (I'm slowly liking it though :)). As soon as I found it I started straight away, taking pictures of the process this time.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2GlWT76ZKiA/UTdBU0cCwQI/AAAAAAAABmg/_6hqJGBfpdM/s1600/SAM_0227.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2GlWT76ZKiA/UTdBU0cCwQI/AAAAAAAABmg/_6hqJGBfpdM/s640/SAM_0227.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the template that I found online. It's called baby 'pip'.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jf15rdyhjRA/UTdBVfQI38I/AAAAAAAABmo/7smncJtRcYc/s1600/SAM_0228.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jf15rdyhjRA/UTdBVfQI38I/AAAAAAAABmo/7smncJtRcYc/s640/SAM_0228.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uHDj4TjbKPw/UTdBWevjjEI/AAAAAAAABmw/01N0YBLahO4/s1600/SAM_0229.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uHDj4TjbKPw/UTdBWevjjEI/AAAAAAAABmw/01N0YBLahO4/s640/SAM_0229.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cut out the parts on a pink floral pattern that I really like. Some parts required two or three more pieces.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5lT1zrlNYRU/UTdBXO8t7pI/AAAAAAAABm4/L_F1jnON9fQ/s1600/SAM_0230.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5lT1zrlNYRU/UTdBXO8t7pI/AAAAAAAABm4/L_F1jnON9fQ/s640/SAM_0230.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I kinda forgot to take picture of the other parts that I sew cause I got two excited. I took a picture of getting ready to sew the head. By far I feel, the hardest part of the body. I had to re-sew certain parts and I mean removing the thread again.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RTbv-8ZTang/UTdBXnaSMSI/AAAAAAAABnA/Vy8WvrYIWBQ/s1600/SAM_0231.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RTbv-8ZTang/UTdBXnaSMSI/AAAAAAAABnA/Vy8WvrYIWBQ/s640/SAM_0231.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Yes! I used the sewing machine this time. The light makes the picture dark but I'm working in bright light.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jj98PHoJblM/UTdBYU9Qp9I/AAAAAAAABnI/fufOvO2SNVA/s1600/SAM_0232.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jj98PHoJblM/UTdBYU9Qp9I/AAAAAAAABnI/fufOvO2SNVA/s640/SAM_0232.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Fixed the ears nose and mouth. Stuffed the face to add in the eyes. I used felt for the nose.You are going to see a few missing steps cause I got too excited but mainly also this is not a tutorial. I had to go online to search on tutorials on how to sew the bear but there wasn't really one that I could follow cause they either used materials I didn't have or their bear was different. I ended up taking ideas from all the different tutorials to make this bear.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dMmYQdwrTWE/UTdBZGHeyeI/AAAAAAAABnQ/ZJCXwiSG5ck/s1600/SAM_0233.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dMmYQdwrTWE/UTdBZGHeyeI/AAAAAAAABnQ/ZJCXwiSG5ck/s640/SAM_0233.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Stuffed the body to see where I should place the hands and legs before sewing them on. Looking good yeah.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vI5iVRKy3M/UTdBaFMbVKI/AAAAAAAABnY/VTvNoPP5vlk/s1600/SAM_0234.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vI5iVRKy3M/UTdBaFMbVKI/AAAAAAAABnY/VTvNoPP5vlk/s640/SAM_0234.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Managed to attach the arms and legs. They aren't attach too tightly though. I'm afraid they might come off. Regret that I didn't sew a few more times.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F7pHTwl-l4o/UTdBeLUhDuI/AAAAAAAABnw/auv-ow7-MNY/s1600/SAM_0267.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F7pHTwl-l4o/UTdBeLUhDuI/AAAAAAAABnw/auv-ow7-MNY/s640/SAM_0267.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And here's my bear! It looks a lot better than I expected since its only my second attempt. Added a ribbon on the neck. Did I mention I hand sew the head to the body cause the opening was to small to fit? I am going to make another one soon. Super proud of it! Picture bomb time!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Thus together with my friend, we went on an adventure.<br />
<br />
It started out around the time near CNY when we decided to head down to Ikea to get the plants and the containers. However, the plants available were mostly cactus and I wasn't to fond of pricking myself although I like how they look. The other plants either had dents on them or the plants was falling apart.<br />
<br />
We went down to several places but because of the CNY period, plants brought in were for the festive season. We ended up not getting anything, not even the container.<br />
<br />
Around three weeks later (which was yesterday), we finally went down to Ikea to choose our plants. I must say it was a success this time!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WhCTTlI7VfA/UTMZPZrqRyI/AAAAAAAABj0/Fjm9xDvzFaY/s1600/20130302_111856.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WhCTTlI7VfA/UTMZPZrqRyI/AAAAAAAABj0/Fjm9xDvzFaY/s640/20130302_111856.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
There were a lot more to choose from and they looked a lot healthier. I manage to choose two plants from the lot. Wanted to go with three but finally decided that three might be two many. Both of us ended up choosing the same plants.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WzXW8JS5y0M/UTMd7LGvk4I/AAAAAAAABkE/JiGxIrNl8Oc/s1600/20130302_203720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WzXW8JS5y0M/UTMd7LGvk4I/AAAAAAAABkE/JiGxIrNl8Oc/s640/20130302_203720.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
After Ikea, we headed down to Daiso at City Square Mall. But..... how come the Daiso here so classy one. It's different from their usual colour theme but looks like a.... pub?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--q6OG4e0jec/UTMgB2McjaI/AAAAAAAABkU/DGXO63VdZsw/s1600/SAM_0211.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--q6OG4e0jec/UTMgB2McjaI/AAAAAAAABkU/DGXO63VdZsw/s640/SAM_0211.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These are the two plants that I have chosen. Cute right? I love it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PZVuTg7FIFE/UTMgU6DF69I/AAAAAAAABkc/FQfGvltXCFU/s1600/SAM_0212.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PZVuTg7FIFE/UTMgU6DF69I/AAAAAAAABkc/FQfGvltXCFU/s640/SAM_0212.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The sand and container that I got from daiso. I bought the pink sand while Jing Na got the yellow one. We got the same container. Now it's time for me to start!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qLVE--BXsFE/UTMh6ugHb_I/AAAAAAAABko/oodEItIA4lA/s1600/SAM_0213.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qLVE--BXsFE/UTMh6ugHb_I/AAAAAAAABko/oodEItIA4lA/s640/SAM_0213.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I had flowers left from my previously so I wanted to use them here. I initially wanted to place the flowers at the side and glue it down. Then I realise that the sand will cover the flowers but tried it anyway. In the end, I waste time and some sand while trying to pour it back.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iDKfNBImRiQ/UTMh7Cru8CI/AAAAAAAABk0/ohChTz_KGGU/s1600/SAM_0216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iDKfNBImRiQ/UTMh7Cru8CI/AAAAAAAABk0/ohChTz_KGGU/s640/SAM_0216.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This is how the sand looks from the top view. Its really fine and enough to fit my container. Love the pastel colour.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-utyCzcNAMzA/UTMh79DfLEI/AAAAAAAABk8/kpoLev7YVtE/s1600/SAM_0217.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-utyCzcNAMzA/UTMh79DfLEI/AAAAAAAABk8/kpoLev7YVtE/s640/SAM_0217.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I used a scoop to pour in the sand slowly to avoid spilling. I recommend putting a newspaper under so that all the sills and dirt will not mess your table up.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-osr-nHFANdw/UTMh9OI4NZI/AAAAAAAABlI/9EE_H5TLsYo/s1600/SAM_0219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-osr-nHFANdw/UTMh9OI4NZI/AAAAAAAABlI/9EE_H5TLsYo/s640/SAM_0219.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Filled about one third of the container.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bOZDfA45L48/UTMh-adqY7I/AAAAAAAABlQ/_MRP2bhZi9A/s1600/SAM_0220.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bOZDfA45L48/UTMh-adqY7I/AAAAAAAABlQ/_MRP2bhZi9A/s640/SAM_0220.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I manage to separate the plant from the pot. I made a small space in the sand and placed it where I want it to be.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mM298xrHS1g/UTMh_yz16DI/AAAAAAAABlc/_PakuGuUu_o/s1600/SAM_0221.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mM298xrHS1g/UTMh_yz16DI/AAAAAAAABlc/_PakuGuUu_o/s640/SAM_0221.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Put the other plant in it and using the scoop I slowly placed the sand in and decorated it with flowers. It looks really pretty.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BZbKPzVh4Js/UTMiAfJS9MI/AAAAAAAABlg/F7nTg7Pf-Lg/s1600/SAM_0222.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BZbKPzVh4Js/UTMiAfJS9MI/AAAAAAAABlg/F7nTg7Pf-Lg/s640/SAM_0222.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
To add on to it, I used two small clay figurines, a bear and mushroom which I made some time back. I placed them on the empty spot and I love how it looks. I feel all fuzzy inside. Now picture spam time!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PYjD0h4w0Q4/UTMiBAu_-rI/AAAAAAAABlo/r_mfytg_fYc/s1600/SAM_0223.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PYjD0h4w0Q4/UTMiBAu_-rI/AAAAAAAABlo/r_mfytg_fYc/s640/SAM_0223.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7JqiRxRz91k/UTMiCD3EEKI/AAAAAAAABlw/dbsklA-nCvI/s1600/SAM_0224.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7JqiRxRz91k/UTMiCD3EEKI/AAAAAAAABlw/dbsklA-nCvI/s640/SAM_0224.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CtC-0ygkU5Q/UTMiDJrLKHI/AAAAAAAABl4/NS7gbGqFJxU/s1600/SAM_0226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CtC-0ygkU5Q/UTMiDJrLKHI/AAAAAAAABl4/NS7gbGqFJxU/s640/SAM_0226.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ix2iUbJjDI8/UTMkgD0FLqI/AAAAAAAABmE/MVs0XLUd3lY/s1600/IMG-20130303-WA0001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ix2iUbJjDI8/UTMkgD0FLqI/AAAAAAAABmE/MVs0XLUd3lY/s640/IMG-20130303-WA0001.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The visible soil adds a little gradient effect to it. But I don't think its a terrarium anymore. I think the plant should be in the container instead of being right at the top but oh wells, I like it.<br />

This is Jing Na's terrarium. Look at her so artsy with her photo taking with the rice cooker behind. Her terrarium looks more simple and has desert feel to it. She wants to redo it though saying its not stable.<br />
<br />
Everything was fruitful and i had fun making it. You guys should try it to and you can choose to decorate it any way you want. So I'll end this post with .....<br />

It's been a while. I haven't been able to post tutorials lately as frequently as I want because by the time I reach home from work I'm totally shagged and my body refuses to separate from my bed. I haven't been able to get any rest or even my lunch break because I have to take the classes for the whole day.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I'm back with a super easy and great necklace tutorial. You can do this as long as you can braid. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GQ2XPGPNYkQ/UTCrfhmTnoI/AAAAAAAABiI/kXVO3IA1_Eg/s1600/SAM_0207.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GQ2XPGPNYkQ/UTCrfhmTnoI/AAAAAAAABiI/kXVO3IA1_Eg/s640/SAM_0207.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This necklace is great for everyday wear and match your outfits easily. Let's get started! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x4hByKUr1jc/UTCsyCQh7MI/AAAAAAAABiQ/iPkgjJIJaCA/s1600/SAM_0191.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x4hByKUr1jc/UTCsyCQh7MI/AAAAAAAABiQ/iPkgjJIJaCA/s640/SAM_0191.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Time: 15 mins</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Things you need: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Pilers</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-3 different strings of different tones (Two thin, one thick)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Jump rings</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Hook</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-One charm</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Wire</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Clasp</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-u0cxABIyKl0/UTCs0jjaQFI/AAAAAAAABio/sVt-xvCblV4/s640/SAM_0192.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First off, get the two different brown sting and cut three each of the same length. Be sure to measure around you neck first and cut around 10 to 15 cm more of the original length cause you will be braiding and adding the clasp at the end. Excess string can be cut away so better to be save than sorry. Cut only one of the thick string the same length as the others.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ynf9lzQIn3w/UTCszKs-W7I/AAAAAAAABiY/NcbJmT2wlEQ/s1600/SAM_0193.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ynf9lzQIn3w/UTCszKs-W7I/AAAAAAAABiY/NcbJmT2wlEQ/s640/SAM_0193.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the clasp we will be using to hold the string together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yhaAdeU5kn8/UTCs0c7CwbI/AAAAAAAABig/-AwRUrSqZzw/s1600/SAM_0194.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yhaAdeU5kn8/UTCs0c7CwbI/AAAAAAAABig/-AwRUrSqZzw/s640/SAM_0194.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Put the string together and secure them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p4-rvB9pado/UTCs1Nco9MI/AAAAAAAABiw/dsD2dA03CxY/s1600/SAM_0195.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p4-rvB9pado/UTCs1Nco9MI/AAAAAAAABiw/dsD2dA03CxY/s640/SAM_0195.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Spilt the three different string and braid the two brown strings separately.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mhCi4Af9vfM/UTCs25Clz0I/AAAAAAAABi4/Vh_SBnpI0OA/s1600/SAM_0197.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mhCi4Af9vfM/UTCs25Clz0I/AAAAAAAABi4/Vh_SBnpI0OA/s640/SAM_0197.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After braiding the two brown string, braid all of them together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H2iSynW2jd0/UTCs5SgUsOI/AAAAAAAABjI/MotXs3CMWRs/s1600/SAM_0198.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H2iSynW2jd0/UTCs5SgUsOI/AAAAAAAABjI/MotXs3CMWRs/s640/SAM_0198.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Secure the ends together with the same clasp. Do remember to measure if it is the correct length before cutting the excess string away. Add the hook at the end using the jump ring.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AWg3eNhGJG0/UTCs5F2t3dI/AAAAAAAABjA/zF7SGcXqwpA/s1600/SAM_0199.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AWg3eNhGJG0/UTCs5F2t3dI/AAAAAAAABjA/zF7SGcXqwpA/s640/SAM_0199.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Take the charm that you have chosen. As mine does not have a hook, I use wire to attach it to the chain. Feel free to use a jump ring if your jump has hooks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qniy_KRBx7A/UTCs6IXeMvI/AAAAAAAABjQ/2XZ4JohTS60/s1600/SAM_0200.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qniy_KRBx7A/UTCs6IXeMvI/AAAAAAAABjQ/2XZ4JohTS60/s640/SAM_0200.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Attach the charm to the necklace.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aibvnve1B8o/UTCs8R0ytuI/AAAAAAAABjk/rO9MYgZSoJM/s1600/SAM_0201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aibvnve1B8o/UTCs8R0ytuI/AAAAAAAABjk/rO9MYgZSoJM/s640/SAM_0201.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Twist the excess wire around and secure it tight. Ensure that the ends are not poking out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C9ZuxaaKYCM/UTCs8t-s5xI/AAAAAAAABjo/yLtxtJbD4oM/s1600/SAM_0206.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C9ZuxaaKYCM/UTCs8t-s5xI/AAAAAAAABjo/yLtxtJbD4oM/s640/SAM_0206.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And we are done!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hopefully this tutorial was easy to do. Feel free to use ribbon and sewing thread if you can't find some of the materials. The necklace will also turn out thicker. Use more strings to make the necklace thicker.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can also use charms from old necklaces. Although I added beads in the materials, I decided not to use them as I liked how it looked already. Pardon the small pictures cause I can't enlarge it as the bar isn't there for me to do so.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'll be out tomorrow in an adventure to create a terrarium. Will blog about my adventure when I'm done. Till then! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I recently had the sudden urge to keep fishes after seeing how fish tanks can be so nicely decorated. <br />
<br />
I did have a fish tank when I was younger and yes it was huge. I was never very much responsible of taking care of them. My role was to choose the fishes and feed them (yes being young I think I actually fed them too much). <br />
<br />
After contemplating for a while, I finally got down to convincing my parents to allow me to get a fish tank which I succeeded pretty easily. <br />
<br />
I wasn't looking for something big but just a size big enough to place on my desk. Haha getting fishes to fill my lonely heart. Lovely companions who will be there but not make noise to annoy you especially when working on my things. Its also rather therapeutic to see the fishes swimming around I realised.<br />
<br />
I went down to a few places with my parents. I never knew fish tanks were so expensive, I expected it to be cheaper. Along with a small tank smaller than a A4 size paper, a light and filter was almost $45. I finally bought a tank that was around a A3 size paper and a filter for $30.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Zi6p8_UllR0/USOHRVjQvEI/AAAAAAAABb0/8cBiuZqPEmE/s1600/SAM_0176.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Zi6p8_UllR0/USOHRVjQvEI/AAAAAAAABb0/8cBiuZqPEmE/s640/SAM_0176.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
The light according to the man is only for decoration purpose so I didn't really see the point in buying it. Waste my money and waste electricity. I want a nicer colour for the filter but can only settle for this cause there wasn't any other colour.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2BxWV_7sKuE/USOHUYNzmVI/AAAAAAAABb8/ag3OlAKSDdE/s1600/SAM_0177.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2BxWV_7sKuE/USOHUYNzmVI/AAAAAAAABb8/ag3OlAKSDdE/s640/SAM_0177.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I got that fake plant for $3. I wanted to get really plants instead but the man who sold me the tank said that those plants don't last more than three days and the best can only last one week. I got those pebbles from home but I want the the more earth tone pebbles but didn't mange to find them yet. This pebbles didn't even fill half the base!<br />
<br />
I didn't get the fishes yet because the man said that I had to run the filter for a day before putting the fish in. I added in the anti-chlorine and run it for a day.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GnYkLZYhhLE/USOJOpFUQoI/AAAAAAAABc0/Gn3AYjJE-aM/s1600/SAM_0178.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GnYkLZYhhLE/USOJOpFUQoI/AAAAAAAABc0/Gn3AYjJE-aM/s640/SAM_0178.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Went down to kovan to get my gold fish. I bought four of them since they were selling 4 for $10. Bought one sucker fish too. My sis made me buy it to suck the algae. I don't see the beauty in sucker fish. For some reason it keeps chasing and "sucking??" my round fishes. Looks wrong. I can't help but entertain thoughts that a new breed of fish might be born. It's like a pervert. Update: I just found out the sucker fish I bought is a chinese algae eater so it cannot be placed with the goldfish cause it will eat their scale or something.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-APEdqhRR2TI/USOJPTtNDGI/AAAAAAAABc8/3zqWNb7W1pA/s1600/SAM_0180.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-APEdqhRR2TI/USOJPTtNDGI/AAAAAAAABc8/3zqWNb7W1pA/s640/SAM_0180.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I bought the earth colour pebbles I was looking for, a small house which my sucker fish is currently enjoying and some plant decorations. Excited to start decorating. The food I bought was food flakes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gj_-QIsZjNc/USOJQWgHh5I/AAAAAAAABdM/CVuwMg6kFCg/s1600/SAM_0182.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gj_-QIsZjNc/USOJQWgHh5I/AAAAAAAABdM/CVuwMg6kFCg/s640/SAM_0182.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ywKWxGB8-3s/USOMT6qfpAI/AAAAAAAABeI/bHsBCLtDwt8/s1600/SAM_0183.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ywKWxGB8-3s/USOMT6qfpAI/AAAAAAAABeI/bHsBCLtDwt8/s640/SAM_0183.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
And here's my fish tank! The pebbles weren't enough so I had to mix it in the end. I might get the pebbles the next time cause I prefer the earth tone pebbles. Love how the plants are looking so I might get more the next time. Slowly add in the decorations. Placed the fishes in and I'm done. My very first bought fish tank. My previous tank was given by someone.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p_4_mTxSAxI/USOMVmzkqzI/AAAAAAAABeU/Dsh_Y3KDlPM/s1600/SAM_0184.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p_4_mTxSAxI/USOMVmzkqzI/AAAAAAAABeU/Dsh_Y3KDlPM/s640/SAM_0184.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nIc_wKSS3h4/USOMVb48r1I/AAAAAAAABeQ/9aoWkXMLwds/s1600/SAM_0186.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nIc_wKSS3h4/USOMVb48r1I/AAAAAAAABeQ/9aoWkXMLwds/s640/SAM_0186.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lr-j-XzUn0A/USOMWuogdBI/AAAAAAAABeg/RmLheNJPZF4/s1600/SAM_0188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lr-j-XzUn0A/USOMWuogdBI/AAAAAAAABeg/RmLheNJPZF4/s640/SAM_0188.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Full view of the tank. Spot the sucker fish. By the way, I need to show you guys something. I picked the fish but didn't realise.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9ljtDJYquaE/USOMWCQuUNI/AAAAAAAABeo/yFXTUAPufhU/s1600/SAM_0187.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9ljtDJYquaE/USOMWCQuUNI/AAAAAAAABeo/yFXTUAPufhU/s640/SAM_0187.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Doesn't this fish look pale? Along with the facial expression, looks like it saw something it shouldn't have.<br />
<br />
I might want to get more fishes like other kind of fishes soon.<br />
<br />
Do leave any comments or advise for me like why is my sucker fish chasing the rest of them or ways to clean the tank cause I'm still searching online.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02101072911610684174noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331382703808091374.post-1717513516045218772013-02-06T18:10:00.002+08:002013-02-06T18:13:07.610+08:00DIY: Mysterious Bridge necklaceI'm finally back with a tutorial and this time it is a necklace. I thought about this idea quite long ago and did a rough sketch on it. I didn't have the materials at that time so I was afraid that I might forget what I wanted to do. True enough, I had to refer back to my drawing when doing this necklace. Enough rambling this is what I'm going to show you what we will be doing today.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ivCFrh4KVyY/URIhi5S-LYI/AAAAAAAABak/HcCwDRCghXI/s1600/SAM_0168.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ivCFrh4KVyY/URIhi5S-LYI/AAAAAAAABak/HcCwDRCghXI/s640/SAM_0168.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This necklace is simple to do but requires various steps so patience is necessary for this project. Take breaks if you get tired.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mEME7j9_cvA/URIhj3clDfI/AAAAAAAABaw/s0PRCeXLLNQ/s1600/SAM_0170.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mEME7j9_cvA/URIhj3clDfI/AAAAAAAABaw/s0PRCeXLLNQ/s640/SAM_0170.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: <br />
-Pliers (The three kind as you can see)<br />
-Three different chains (Two different gold chains, one black chain)<br />
-Black flat string<br />
-Silver or white seed beads<br />
-Black wire<br />
-Jump rings<br />
-Gold clasps<br />
-Gold ring<br />
-Super glue<br />
<br />
Time: 1 hour or more<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BDKCx2Dcl6s/URIhTLTJXtI/AAAAAAAABYo/doBt5UTiqrY/s1600/SAM_0151.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BDKCx2Dcl6s/URIhTLTJXtI/AAAAAAAABYo/doBt5UTiqrY/s640/SAM_0151.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wCVDgLS1j68/URIhVn0t_4I/AAAAAAAABYw/OPxjuUNX_QQ/s1600/SAM_0152.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wCVDgLS1j68/URIhVn0t_4I/AAAAAAAABYw/OPxjuUNX_QQ/s640/SAM_0152.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
First up, get the black wire and create a hoop like above. This is to create the centre part of the necklace.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5tZ66l5mPY0/URIhbUt6YiI/AAAAAAAABZQ/k-MU1iC6Y4E/s1600/SAM_0155.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5tZ66l5mPY0/URIhbUt6YiI/AAAAAAAABZQ/k-MU1iC6Y4E/s640/SAM_0155.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Put in ten seed beads.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7ohZzB5eXOQ/URIhWfYHGZI/AAAAAAAABY4/r-Xb1m9DGjE/s1600/SAM_0156.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="466" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7ohZzB5eXOQ/URIhWfYHGZI/AAAAAAAABY4/r-Xb1m9DGjE/s640/SAM_0156.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Close it up by creating another ring at the end. Make about 18 of these.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ut5R_6cqLV8/URIheH0uAII/AAAAAAAABZ0/ESoYuHBMRAE/s1600/SAM_0158.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="430" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ut5R_6cqLV8/URIheH0uAII/AAAAAAAABZ0/ESoYuHBMRAE/s640/SAM_0158.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The chain that you cut should be able to hold the 18 seed beads sticks.Each stick must be attach to one ring on the chain. thus your chain has to be 18 ring long. Cut two of the same length.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5X_SEGvSGZw/URIhXDy9tTI/AAAAAAAABZA/RhxtU8M9vOE/s1600/SAM_0157.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5X_SEGvSGZw/URIhXDy9tTI/AAAAAAAABZA/RhxtU8M9vOE/s640/SAM_0157.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Get the black string and weave through the chain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YfMmoSuGJ7o/URIhcpKt0II/AAAAAAAABZg/Ay3JcSdDZIs/s1600/SAM_0161.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YfMmoSuGJ7o/URIhcpKt0II/AAAAAAAABZg/Ay3JcSdDZIs/s640/SAM_0161.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Bend the sting at the end of the chain and put some super glue to keep it down. Do this to both ends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B2Y_hVNzxM8/URIhZkOOQRI/AAAAAAAABZI/j5BUxVlf1KU/s1600/SAM_0159.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B2Y_hVNzxM8/URIhZkOOQRI/AAAAAAAABZI/j5BUxVlf1KU/s640/SAM_0159.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Using the seed bead stick, attach it it to one of the chain. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hVxOnDpLMyU/URIhShghNjI/AAAAAAAABYg/NB19k8SUfSA/s1600/SAM_0150.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="444" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hVxOnDpLMyU/URIhShghNjI/AAAAAAAABYg/NB19k8SUfSA/s640/SAM_0150.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Slowly attach each stick to the chain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ypb5zWH7FOs/URIhbiPvExI/AAAAAAAABZY/zPR9_gkNLHE/s1600/SAM_0160.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ypb5zWH7FOs/URIhbiPvExI/AAAAAAAABZY/zPR9_gkNLHE/s640/SAM_0160.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Get the lower chain do the same as the one on the top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8hihyOCpuUE/URIhdC7F-kI/AAAAAAAABZk/IC4B4E8yJm8/s1600/SAM_0162.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8hihyOCpuUE/URIhdC7F-kI/AAAAAAAABZk/IC4B4E8yJm8/s640/SAM_0162.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
After you are done with the top, get the black chain and measure how long you want the chain at the bottom to dangle. Attach the black chain to the gold chain using the jump ring.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yluvAWv54yo/URIhftf6HoI/AAAAAAAABaE/BvwBeT4sR7k/s1600/SAM_0163.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yluvAWv54yo/URIhftf6HoI/AAAAAAAABaE/BvwBeT4sR7k/s640/SAM_0163.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The length of the chain should shorten gradually as it moves to the side.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QWTADOW5n3o/URIhe0lyTlI/AAAAAAAABZ8/5mduUfV7Uas/s1600/SAM_0164.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QWTADOW5n3o/URIhe0lyTlI/AAAAAAAABZ8/5mduUfV7Uas/s640/SAM_0164.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is how the main piece should look like.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TjVXxalkRtU/URIhfmknnII/AAAAAAAABaI/TY_iyKnLNLU/s1600/SAM_0165.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TjVXxalkRtU/URIhfmknnII/AAAAAAAABaI/TY_iyKnLNLU/s640/SAM_0165.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Using the other gold chain, attach it to each side. Measure how long you want your necklace to be before doing any cutting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z5cPnMJ1920/URIhhm3JI_I/AAAAAAAABaY/sMTkwygkP28/s1600/SAM_0167.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z5cPnMJ1920/URIhhm3JI_I/AAAAAAAABaY/sMTkwygkP28/s640/SAM_0167.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Attach the gold clasp and the ring at the end.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SE1EeJvxoXc/URIhj3MYFqI/AAAAAAAABas/8DxBWj3Iu-4/s1600/SAM_0169.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SE1EeJvxoXc/URIhj3MYFqI/AAAAAAAABas/8DxBWj3Iu-4/s640/SAM_0169.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And you're done!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>

Funny cause I don't usually touch clay unless I have inspiration if not they will end up really ugly. But I suddenly wanted to make ice cream cones and I was never really able to make them so I thought about it and got down to working on it. <br />
<br />
I must say they turn out better than I thought I made some toppings as well to help with my ice cream. They are basically the same with different toppings.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8a-wwse0_sY/UQKWh-eM4eI/AAAAAAAABXg/X5yGsyrcaA8/s1600/SAM_0144.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="376" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8a-wwse0_sY/UQKWh-eM4eI/AAAAAAAABXg/X5yGsyrcaA8/s640/SAM_0144.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Here's a small preview of what you will be seeing. Okay the bear is completely out of the topic but I want to put it there so there nothing you can do. *MUAHAHAHAHA!!!*<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3T_ygfBlw7o/UQKWciam0EI/AAAAAAAABWs/CzHbTO6oyAc/s1600/SAM_0135.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="416" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3T_ygfBlw7o/UQKWciam0EI/AAAAAAAABWs/CzHbTO6oyAc/s640/SAM_0135.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
There are two different cones that I made and this is one of them. It's like the waffle style kinda of cones. I used silicone for the cream and the toppings made by me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5xuU0VNUtjQ/UQKWc-FFKTI/AAAAAAAABWw/ACKKCjbSclQ/s1600/SAM_0136.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="452" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5xuU0VNUtjQ/UQKWc-FFKTI/AAAAAAAABWw/ACKKCjbSclQ/s640/SAM_0136.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Strawberry with sprinkles that I bought. The other one is like balls of candies on top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z9Xu_Ps2xFk/UQKWd4PYPsI/AAAAAAAABW8/BDlwUQPorg8/s1600/SAM_0137.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="442" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-z9Xu_Ps2xFk/UQKWd4PYPsI/AAAAAAAABW8/BDlwUQPorg8/s640/SAM_0137.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Candy canes!!!! Added rhinestones for the shine!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-s0tfVCtS7V8/UQKWe0MyaUI/AAAAAAAABXA/cT4bFmthkFc/s1600/SAM_0138.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="434" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-s0tfVCtS7V8/UQKWe0MyaUI/AAAAAAAABXA/cT4bFmthkFc/s640/SAM_0138.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These two cones are really simple in my opinion.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LjG30PcWwtg/UQKWfvSy6RI/AAAAAAAABXE/3uKMix5JDQE/s1600/SAM_0139.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="468" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LjG30PcWwtg/UQKWfvSy6RI/AAAAAAAABXE/3uKMix5JDQE/s640/SAM_0139.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is the other type of cone I was talking about. I don't know how to describe it. Like grilled octopus?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dqI2GQ_5wJo/UQKWgJHOOCI/AAAAAAAABXM/dedabnawIoA/s1600/SAM_0140.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="446" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dqI2GQ_5wJo/UQKWgJHOOCI/AAAAAAAABXM/dedabnawIoA/s640/SAM_0140.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is my all time favourite. Teddy bear trying to eat the ice cream. I lessen on the toppings cause there's already a few things going on. Super love!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZIGzUpnP6JE/UQKWarRupoI/AAAAAAAABWU/ZUgj-DK19o0/s1600/SAM_0132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZIGzUpnP6JE/UQKWarRupoI/AAAAAAAABWU/ZUgj-DK19o0/s640/SAM_0132.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yvxyCIdFbEQ/UQKWbEP6o1I/AAAAAAAABWc/dAzJIO3svnU/s1600/SAM_0133.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yvxyCIdFbEQ/UQKWbEP6o1I/AAAAAAAABWc/dAzJIO3svnU/s640/SAM_0133.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Front and back.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SHaDcTuDbzY/UQKWgu21_TI/AAAAAAAABXY/XNec1FYrFBY/s1600/SAM_0141.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SHaDcTuDbzY/UQKWgu21_TI/AAAAAAAABXY/XNec1FYrFBY/s640/SAM_0141.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This three-tier ice cream was a last minute choice to make before I popped the clay into the oven. It turn out really well and I made it to a key chain. Added the ribbon for an extra cute look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9l_waPJhrXk/UQKWhy74Y_I/AAAAAAAABXk/ras99n3XIaI/s1600/SAM_0142.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9l_waPJhrXk/UQKWhy74Y_I/AAAAAAAABXk/ras99n3XIaI/s640/SAM_0142.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One more pic of the three-tier ice cream.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ozVz6GbQAuo/UQKWbyIe13I/AAAAAAAABWk/DyoRL67ATjY/s1600/SAM_0134.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ozVz6GbQAuo/UQKWbyIe13I/AAAAAAAABWk/DyoRL67ATjY/s640/SAM_0134.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay this is just an extra but I want to add this little fella in.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I wanted to use flowers this time because the sky has been rather gloomy this few days from the rain so why not cheer up with bright flowers.<br />
<br />
Are you ready?!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jaq8A9e5nzo/UPvu2W2RbZI/AAAAAAAABV0/iKviNhO03Qs/s1600/SAM_0131.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="412" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jaq8A9e5nzo/UPvu2W2RbZI/AAAAAAAABV0/iKviNhO03Qs/s640/SAM_0131.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This is what we will be doing today. It's perfect to wear out after the sky has cleared on a bright and sunny day! So first up would be the materials!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vlUCVxQPFwU/UPvt--RgRBI/AAAAAAAABUg/fDG1GMHVtt8/s1600/SAM_0120.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vlUCVxQPFwU/UPvt--RgRBI/AAAAAAAABUg/fDG1GMHVtt8/s640/SAM_0120.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: Fake flowers<br />
Beads (Any kind you like)<br />
String<br />
Hair clip<br />
Scissors<br />
Glue gun<br />
Time:10-20 mins<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nJbHGSoSaVw/UPvuJ5672iI/AAAAAAAABUs/Wzln8Wh9k6Y/s1600/SAM_0121.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nJbHGSoSaVw/UPvuJ5672iI/AAAAAAAABUs/Wzln8Wh9k6Y/s640/SAM_0121.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Take the string and cut it to the length that you desire. Be sure to use the length of your hair as a guide unless you don't mind the dangles to be longer than your hair. Tie a knot at the end.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HxybOYoEZWc/UPvuT2grjpI/AAAAAAAABU8/fuKK_ucieY0/s1600/SAM_0122.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HxybOYoEZWc/UPvuT2grjpI/AAAAAAAABU8/fuKK_ucieY0/s640/SAM_0122.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
String in the beads. You can choose to put as many beads but I'm keeping it simple to two beads.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zkqh9sQveMY/UPvucav3otI/AAAAAAAABVM/g5oF7hhWVSI/s1600/SAM_0123.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zkqh9sQveMY/UPvucav3otI/AAAAAAAABVM/g5oF7hhWVSI/s640/SAM_0123.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
Make as many as you want for this. It's really up to how many you want. Cut them of different length like how I did it if you want to.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3yRoEYuU5-Y/UPvuhZuO2bI/AAAAAAAABVU/Pqp6J2QKKKY/s1600/SAM_0124.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3yRoEYuU5-Y/UPvuhZuO2bI/AAAAAAAABVU/Pqp6J2QKKKY/s640/SAM_0124.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Get the clip and glue gun the stings down to the hair clip. This part has to come first cause we want to hide those strings. Line them up neatly like this if you want them to fall nicely in the center. It will be easier to place the flowers if it is flat like that.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5PmVwyACQlA/UPvulHrVLmI/AAAAAAAABVc/VFEMbPcHHT0/s1600/SAM_0125.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5PmVwyACQlA/UPvulHrVLmI/AAAAAAAABVc/VFEMbPcHHT0/s640/SAM_0125.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Start to glue gun the flowers. This is where you have to be random. Planning will be pretty useless for this part so stick the flowers to where your instincts tell you. Trust me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s-j0BEki1aE/UPvuq6PVz5I/AAAAAAAABVk/iF4E7mTib5w/s1600/SAM_0126.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s-j0BEki1aE/UPvuq6PVz5I/AAAAAAAABVk/iF4E7mTib5w/s640/SAM_0126.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And you're done!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LAZu2uwUSYk/UPvxzL6ldVI/AAAAAAAABWE/cbCsiqFCHiw/s1600/SAM_0130.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LAZu2uwUSYk/UPvxzL6ldVI/AAAAAAAABWE/cbCsiqFCHiw/s640/SAM_0130.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Wear this any way you want. I tried to pin my fringe up with this and it works. So experiment different ways to wear this! Simple and nothing to extravagant. Use lighter flower if you like to cause I'm just using flowers that I already have.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Tell me what you feel about this floral hair clip and I apologize for some blur images cause my camera isn't working well with me :(.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have a few more ideas on some accessories that I would like to do and show you all but I haven't got the materials yet. I probably be heading down to chinatown around this two weeks to get what I need. Hopefully, my ideas will work out! Wish me luck!</div>

I just started work at my new place and I'm taking some time to adjust. You see, I'm not exactly the kind to warm up to others fast so I'm feeling a little lonely here. Things are really different here so I'm taking time to absorb them. And a small confession, I have been a little lazy to work on my crafts cause I end up laying down on the sofa after work. I'll try to get a new post soon!<br />
<br />
I have never made a new years resolution before but I kinda want to do it this year. I know its half way through January but no harm saying this now. So here goes.<br />
<br />
1) To have more readers for my blog and hopefully do a give away.<br />
<br />
2) Work more on my crafts and to post more tutorials.<br />
<br />
3) Hopefully finally setting up my shop online to sell what I love to do at a reasonable price.<br />
<br />
4) Get a bazaar.<br />
<br />
5) Do well in my work and warm up to people fast.<br />
<br />
6) Spent lots of time with my family and friends plus try to keep my temper more cool which can be rather explosive at times.<br />
<br />
7) Guide my lovely children of forty with much patience and care.<br />
<br />
8) Travel to another country by plane.<br />
<br />
9) Not to be so lazy :).<br />
<br />
10) Love more.<br />
<br />
These are what I hope to achieve this year. Not to difficult right?<br />
<br />
I am happy to share that I was featured by <a href="http://sophieandtoffee.com/" target="_blank">Sophie and Toffee</a> which you can see <a href="http://sophieandtoffee.com/diy-cabochon-bag-charm/" target="_blank">here.</a> I'm really glad that they like what I did. Was super excited when I saw this.<br />
<br />
Lastly be I end this post. Do like <a href="https://www.facebook.com/geraldinecassandradiy" target="_blank">my facebook page</a> where you can get updates on pictures or tutorials that I post. You can also find the facebook link at the side of my page. Thanks all and I'll be back soon!<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Lji9eB3S86o/UOV5iTxfl5I/AAAAAAAABTg/e2zhtKV0xVY/s1600/SAM_0024.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="456" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Lji9eB3S86o/UOV5iTxfl5I/AAAAAAAABTg/e2zhtKV0xVY/s640/SAM_0024.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today, I'm going to show you how to make this really simple bracelet. As long as you know how to braid, its going to be a piece of cake. Let's start this DIY!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xACrx287ibA/UOV45dMuGxI/AAAAAAAABRM/pNc7zUvlBAQ/s1600/SAM_0002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="464" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xACrx287ibA/UOV45dMuGxI/AAAAAAAABRM/pNc7zUvlBAQ/s640/SAM_0002.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: Pincer clasp<br />
String (Two colours)<br />
Jump ring<br />
Chain<br />
Pilers<br />
Time: 5-10 minutes<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nXDgnL9nchU/UOV48K2YaFI/AAAAAAAABRU/UVgMg1uJfBM/s1600/SAM_0003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nXDgnL9nchU/UOV48K2YaFI/AAAAAAAABRU/UVgMg1uJfBM/s640/SAM_0003.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, using the chain, wrapped it round your wrist twice and cut it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kketv_QjRj4/UOV49xKl8vI/AAAAAAAABRc/OQvjyIHTPPU/s1600/SAM_0004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="444" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kketv_QjRj4/UOV49xKl8vI/AAAAAAAABRc/OQvjyIHTPPU/s640/SAM_0004.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Measure the string to be the same length as the chain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GUdcwZQldrw/UOV4_mklLzI/AAAAAAAABRk/J4TZxJJJ_BU/s1600/SAM_0005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="464" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GUdcwZQldrw/UOV4_mklLzI/AAAAAAAABRk/J4TZxJJJ_BU/s640/SAM_0005.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut 5 of each colour.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zLW9w9KQVig/UOV5CHmSzfI/AAAAAAAABRs/S6hsGPTKnRc/s1600/SAM_0006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zLW9w9KQVig/UOV5CHmSzfI/AAAAAAAABRs/S6hsGPTKnRc/s640/SAM_0006.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Put them togther and tie a knot. Make sure the chain is sticking out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c8EjbjJEkY8/UOV5EreB_3I/AAAAAAAABR0/RP-U_NElGj4/s1600/SAM_0007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="482" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c8EjbjJEkY8/UOV5EreB_3I/AAAAAAAABR0/RP-U_NElGj4/s640/SAM_0007.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tape the top down so it won't move around when you are braiding.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rwsMRLmx4Xw/UOV5G2N3X8I/AAAAAAAABR8/_xIza_5UU4U/s1600/SAM_0008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rwsMRLmx4Xw/UOV5G2N3X8I/AAAAAAAABR8/_xIza_5UU4U/s640/SAM_0008.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Spilt them into three parts....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jtj3Vd1jv9I/UOV5JC7ud5I/AAAAAAAABSI/80NQ2_Yyd-Q/s1600/SAM_0009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jtj3Vd1jv9I/UOV5JC7ud5I/AAAAAAAABSI/80NQ2_Yyd-Q/s640/SAM_0009.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RUvqZWSWjTI/UOV5LtEV7dI/AAAAAAAABSQ/GukeQ29z8xk/s1600/SAM_0010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RUvqZWSWjTI/UOV5LtEV7dI/AAAAAAAABSQ/GukeQ29z8xk/s640/SAM_0010.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hj2QPd1K7Bg/UOV5NBXc25I/AAAAAAAABSY/CFVRtaNJc5Q/s1600/SAM_0011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hj2QPd1K7Bg/UOV5NBXc25I/AAAAAAAABSY/CFVRtaNJc5Q/s640/SAM_0011.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And start braiding just like how you would do for your hair.:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k7l8eVVrTuU/UOV5PM73bYI/AAAAAAAABSg/kbEVnOCHh28/s1600/SAM_0013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k7l8eVVrTuU/UOV5PM73bYI/AAAAAAAABSg/kbEVnOCHh28/s640/SAM_0013.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As you braid, measure to ensure that it fits your wrist the way you want it to be.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CiSKO6ZgG_E/UOV5Q5wnqFI/AAAAAAAABSo/1_JWo4ZXfQE/s1600/SAM_0014.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CiSKO6ZgG_E/UOV5Q5wnqFI/AAAAAAAABSo/1_JWo4ZXfQE/s640/SAM_0014.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tie a knot at the place you have stop braiding.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NiHrGYLDxR0/UOV5Tp6EffI/AAAAAAAABSw/FrySqXMr3XU/s1600/SAM_0015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NiHrGYLDxR0/UOV5Tp6EffI/AAAAAAAABSw/FrySqXMr3XU/s640/SAM_0015.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut off the excess string.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uSSHYlwRy4c/UOV5WcE9aTI/AAAAAAAABS4/5mClb7DkLaE/s1600/SAM_0016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uSSHYlwRy4c/UOV5WcE9aTI/AAAAAAAABS4/5mClb7DkLaE/s640/SAM_0016.JPG" width="640" /></a>Measure the where you should cut the chain using your wrist and how big you want your bracelet to be.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7W5D6PQ52Dw/UOV5ZGBxIII/AAAAAAAABTA/uYM9-WmVR5g/s1600/SAM_0019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7W5D6PQ52Dw/UOV5ZGBxIII/AAAAAAAABTA/uYM9-WmVR5g/s640/SAM_0019.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

My previous bag charm was cute and colourful so this time, it will be less colours and those who prefer earthy tones. Let's get started!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1d1yWfR4u0s/UNxCUSVVy4I/AAAAAAAABMU/bIHMzuCqodw/s1600/SAM_0044.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="465" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1d1yWfR4u0s/UNxCUSVVy4I/AAAAAAAABMU/bIHMzuCqodw/s640/SAM_0044.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: String<br />
Wooden Pegs<br />
Jump rings<br />
Charms<br />
Bag hook<br />
Pliers<br />
<br />
Fr the first part, follow the instructions from my <a href="http://www.geraldinecassandra.blogspot.sg/2012/12/diycabochon-bag-charm.html" target="_blank">Cabochon bag charm</a> tutorial. Cut the length that you want your bag charm to be times two. <br />
However, for this charm, you will need four long string and one short string.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-egiTP7TykPo/UNxEDBe9ARI/AAAAAAAABNA/d6K-M5eplqE/s1600/SAM_0026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="468" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-egiTP7TykPo/UNxEDBe9ARI/AAAAAAAABNA/d6K-M5eplqE/s640/SAM_0026.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Tie the strings together like so. Remember to bend the long strings into half to tie to create the hook.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wi3kBTO2CoI/UNxEye-YtqI/AAAAAAAABNM/auB736Sh66Q/s1600/SAM_0027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="448" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wi3kBTO2CoI/UNxEye-YtqI/AAAAAAAABNM/auB736Sh66Q/s640/SAM_0027.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Split the strings to three parts with three strings in each part.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Tv76nhsK1nY/UNxE0hHTXaI/AAAAAAAABNU/Kr5XRTqUlWM/s1600/SAM_0028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="460" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Tv76nhsK1nY/UNxE0hHTXaI/AAAAAAAABNU/Kr5XRTqUlWM/s640/SAM_0028.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Braid each part like so and hold the end with a wooden peg.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VBP8ow1gzko/UNxE1wEBNoI/AAAAAAAABNc/Szo2FcOb524/s1600/SAM_0029.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VBP8ow1gzko/UNxE1wEBNoI/AAAAAAAABNc/Szo2FcOb524/s640/SAM_0029.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And it should look like this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aVClr7W4Fjc/UNxGWaH4nYI/AAAAAAAABOw/rkgqvUasNu0/s1600/SAM_0030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="448" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aVClr7W4Fjc/UNxGWaH4nYI/AAAAAAAABOw/rkgqvUasNu0/s640/SAM_0030.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After you are done braiding each part, braid all of them together....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VhkxW1lQcsg/UNxGYsJZC-I/AAAAAAAABO4/NmQ9024X9iE/s1600/SAM_0032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="442" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VhkxW1lQcsg/UNxGYsJZC-I/AAAAAAAABO4/NmQ9024X9iE/s640/SAM_0032.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
...and tie a knot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-E6ArdxS3chk/UNxGaFmTPcI/AAAAAAAABPA/Y76KCHg-FQE/s1600/SAM_0033.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="436" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-E6ArdxS3chk/UNxGaFmTPcI/AAAAAAAABPA/Y76KCHg-FQE/s640/SAM_0033.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Get your charms ready by adding a jump ring to each of them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zls1WaL8vuA/UNxHA606oOI/AAAAAAAABPI/tfltbKp7mxw/s1600/SAM_0036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="505" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zls1WaL8vuA/UNxHA606oOI/AAAAAAAABPI/tfltbKp7mxw/s640/SAM_0036.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I'm going to show you how to make this really cute bag charm using cabochons. It's a great accessory to for your bag. It's super easy to do and can be great presents as well. Let's get started!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dslkf3Byo6A/UNKycPtChfI/AAAAAAAABEc/YlPnCUJRlu8/s1600/SAM_0048.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dslkf3Byo6A/UNKycPtChfI/AAAAAAAABEc/YlPnCUJRlu8/s640/SAM_0048.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: Glue gun<br />
Cabochons (From <a href="http://sophieandtoffee.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #a64d79; font-size: large;">Sophie and Toffee)</span></a><br />
Strings (One thick and one thin<br />
Pilers<br />
Bag hook<br />
Super glue<br />
Wire<br />
Pegs<br />
Scissors<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m11n-cqLEvM/UNKydxRgbuI/AAAAAAAABEk/o5_JkeP35SE/s1600/SAM_0050.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m11n-cqLEvM/UNKydxRgbuI/AAAAAAAABEk/o5_JkeP35SE/s640/SAM_0050.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Taking the thicker string, measure how long you want your bag charm to be. If you want it to be 13 cm long, you have to measure your string to 26 cm (2 times the length). Do not cut the string yet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rEbN7dnqFwg/UNKyfCbz1jI/AAAAAAAABEs/Vq1csgolFOo/s1600/SAM_0051.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rEbN7dnqFwg/UNKyfCbz1jI/AAAAAAAABEs/Vq1csgolFOo/s640/SAM_0051.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At 26 cm, make a small loop like this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-37RWKmrVaNM/UNKygIqDbTI/AAAAAAAABEw/4m7H_KvHPv8/s1600/SAM_0052.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-37RWKmrVaNM/UNKygIqDbTI/AAAAAAAABEw/4m7H_KvHPv8/s640/SAM_0052.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut the string at where the end is. The string that you cut should be 52 cm long.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YGlgF7vlwXo/UNKyh8bqDfI/AAAAAAAABE8/Nc1NgIioeec/s1600/SAM_0056.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YGlgF7vlwXo/UNKyh8bqDfI/AAAAAAAABE8/Nc1NgIioeec/s640/SAM_0056.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Get the thinner string and cut one of the string at 52cm and the other at 26 cm as seen in the picture.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5WEUc3bBaz0/UNKyjPZ4gKI/AAAAAAAABFE/VYiwHAm5QbE/s1600/SAM_0057.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5WEUc3bBaz0/UNKyjPZ4gKI/AAAAAAAABFE/VYiwHAm5QbE/s640/SAM_0057.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You have to cut 3 thick string of the same length and two thin ones at 52 and 26 cm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZrNorUDDwrM/UNKykUTQa5I/AAAAAAAABFM/eJ95W4lS5Ns/s1600/SAM_0058.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZrNorUDDwrM/UNKykUTQa5I/AAAAAAAABFM/eJ95W4lS5Ns/s640/SAM_0058.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jL2UHEz97Bk/UNKylqYKRGI/AAAAAAAABFQ/3pCaqnTLXH0/s1600/SAM_0059.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jL2UHEz97Bk/UNKylqYKRGI/AAAAAAAABFQ/3pCaqnTLXH0/s640/SAM_0059.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Put all the strings together land tie a loop so it looks like the picture (Ginseng?). Divide the strings into three parts. Each part has to have three strings.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OTiT1QoHpi4/UNK01H9xA3I/AAAAAAAABF8/ifqsXZGOwYg/s1600/SAM_0060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OTiT1QoHpi4/UNK01H9xA3I/AAAAAAAABF8/ifqsXZGOwYg/s640/SAM_0060.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Braid each part like in the picture. Use a peg to hold the ends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F13W67hlxjI/UNK1MESn7hI/AAAAAAAABHE/GtWdanDlDrw/s1600/SAM_0061.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F13W67hlxjI/UNK1MESn7hI/AAAAAAAABHE/GtWdanDlDrw/s640/SAM_0061.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When you are done braiding all parts, It should look like this.</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fPtxMGqCtoM/UNK047ZSgRI/AAAAAAAABGE/pxEUcd55clI/s1600/SAM_0062.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fPtxMGqCtoM/UNK047ZSgRI/AAAAAAAABGE/pxEUcd55clI/s640/SAM_0062.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Taking the light brown strings, twist it like so.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gLstTOvf6_s/UNK0506DhFI/AAAAAAAABGM/4_o2J5e0nE4/s1600/SAM_0063.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gLstTOvf6_s/UNK0506DhFI/AAAAAAAABGM/4_o2J5e0nE4/s640/SAM_0063.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Using the dark brown string, wrap it around the light brown strings.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R8NjejFzQBY/UNK07B-FWkI/AAAAAAAABGQ/01-_chpSRVk/s1600/SAM_0064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R8NjejFzQBY/UNK07B-FWkI/AAAAAAAABGQ/01-_chpSRVk/s640/SAM_0064.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S9btKf6rFlg/UNK08A9D5uI/AAAAAAAABGc/7w56EYkIWKM/s1600/SAM_0065.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S9btKf6rFlg/UNK08A9D5uI/AAAAAAAABGc/7w56EYkIWKM/s640/SAM_0065.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a small piece of light brown string, and tie it at the end to secure it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NTYkF7GCZNU/UNK09ckMewI/AAAAAAAABGk/BiuFasbiZXA/s1600/SAM_0066.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NTYkF7GCZNU/UNK09ckMewI/AAAAAAAABGk/BiuFasbiZXA/s640/SAM_0066.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tie it around a few times going back and forth and cut the remaining ends away.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AB7H5HOiZuc/UNK0-fiZxXI/AAAAAAAABGo/UEokwikrW2o/s1600/SAM_0067.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AB7H5HOiZuc/UNK0-fiZxXI/AAAAAAAABGo/UEokwikrW2o/s640/SAM_0067.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Place your cabochons around and plan where you want to place them on the string. I'm using cabochons from <a href="http://sophieandtoffee.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #a64d79; font-size: large;">Sophie and toffee</span></a>. They offer a wide variety of cabochons as well as many other crafts supplies.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At top hoops, there will be at least three hoops and we don't need so many. so seperate the three hoops. Cut off the two ends leaving only the one in the center</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PUceR446GMw/UNK6VRfMguI/AAAAAAAABKE/dzs2zNMOSwY/s1600/SAM_0086.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PUceR446GMw/UNK6VRfMguI/AAAAAAAABKE/dzs2zNMOSwY/s640/SAM_0086.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Bent in the top part and the wire should look like a 'S' shape.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tTGjYI2NqNI/UNK6sw0-OxI/AAAAAAAABKU/Uf7oqxkpmyg/s1600/SAM_0087.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tTGjYI2NqNI/UNK6sw0-OxI/AAAAAAAABKU/Uf7oqxkpmyg/s640/SAM_0087.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Attach this to the back of a cabochon using a glue gun.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tx_fZZzzrc/UNK6t-r8eCI/AAAAAAAABKc/oHSdXI8e08A/s1600/SAM_0088.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tx_fZZzzrc/UNK6t-r8eCI/AAAAAAAABKc/oHSdXI8e08A/s640/SAM_0088.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hook it on to the extra hook.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3IVgVoIQG5w/UNK6v_tWkAI/AAAAAAAABKk/v6_p0ZOOr6s/s1600/SAM_0089.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3IVgVoIQG5w/UNK6v_tWkAI/AAAAAAAABKk/v6_p0ZOOr6s/s640/SAM_0089.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And you are done!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JVIU5gee-GQ/UNK6xexo1YI/AAAAAAAABKs/Mn6cXE8fOXM/s1600/SAM_0091.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JVIU5gee-GQ/UNK6xexo1YI/AAAAAAAABKs/Mn6cXE8fOXM/s640/SAM_0091.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nKySZ1H9KLM/UMl4d9HX2QI/AAAAAAAAA7Q/zUC6mDQG3og/s1600/DSC00732.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nKySZ1H9KLM/UMl4d9HX2QI/AAAAAAAAA7Q/zUC6mDQG3og/s640/DSC00732.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I'm going to show you how to do this V bracelet. I'm calling it V bracelets cause it looks like there are many V's on the bracelet. I will be doing this differently. Instead of using cords like the ones in the picture, I will be using threads. Let's get started!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bMIFzybUrCI/UM_-1OAq0FI/AAAAAAAABAA/-sdN_H5scQs/s1600/DSC00786.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bMIFzybUrCI/UM_-1OAq0FI/AAAAAAAABAA/-sdN_H5scQs/s640/DSC00786.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Things you need: Threads (Two colours)<br />
Chain<br />
Pincer clasp<br />
Jump rings<br />
Pliers<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uRX-RBTC0T8/UM_-3I4kusI/AAAAAAAABAI/BFmMiiSiyUw/s1600/DSC00788.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uRX-RBTC0T8/UM_-3I4kusI/AAAAAAAABAI/BFmMiiSiyUw/s640/DSC00788.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
First off you will want to measure the length of the chain and make sure its fits you. I suggest cutting it slightly bigger so it won't be too tight and it will be easier for you when you have to wear it yourself.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qoq36zmSviI/UM_-5A4edOI/AAAAAAAABAQ/pYOrRjrrfAI/s1600/DSC00789.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="420" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qoq36zmSviI/UM_-5A4edOI/AAAAAAAABAQ/pYOrRjrrfAI/s640/DSC00789.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Add on the clasp using the pliers and the jump ring.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-w3qQ4Z0CttU/UNAAhpF-9CI/AAAAAAAABA8/PTC4EdNioaM/s1600/DSC00791.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-w3qQ4Z0CttU/UNAAhpF-9CI/AAAAAAAABA8/PTC4EdNioaM/s640/DSC00791.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div align="left" style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cut four equal lengths of one colour thread. The length of the thread has to be around two and a half times the length of your chain. Note: If you only want to use one colour then the thread has to be four times the length of the chain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dxk8Y-hpMFY/UNAAi8064jI/AAAAAAAABBE/v6QrKOvAAkw/s1600/DSC00794.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dxk8Y-hpMFY/UNAAi8064jI/AAAAAAAABBE/v6QrKOvAAkw/s640/DSC00794.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do the same for the other colour and place them together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SrNEy4GUweU/UNAAkPwkkQI/AAAAAAAABBI/jWNyJmD-g9A/s1600/DSC00795.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SrNEy4GUweU/UNAAkPwkkQI/AAAAAAAABBI/jWNyJmD-g9A/s640/DSC00795.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tie a knot like this. (Skip this part if your are only using one colour.)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NeqwhkJ0hhc/UNAAlRaMIkI/AAAAAAAABBQ/j65bw8cOKlI/s1600/DSC00796.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NeqwhkJ0hhc/UNAAlRaMIkI/AAAAAAAABBQ/j65bw8cOKlI/s640/DSC00796.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wrap the ends with scotch tape so it will be easier when you thread it through the chain.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oFNwXrbHYmU/UNACWkvv0eI/AAAAAAAABB8/pwbBDjnXB5E/s1600/DSC00813.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oFNwXrbHYmU/UNACWkvv0eI/AAAAAAAABB8/pwbBDjnXB5E/s640/DSC00813.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Start of with the purple thread being thread in the purple thread will then have to be on top the pink thread. Thread on the right has to be on top the thread on the left.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QUa2rAAr65w/UNACbLrKg4I/AAAAAAAABCE/NUyVNWAV86Q/s1600/DSC00814.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QUa2rAAr65w/UNACbLrKg4I/AAAAAAAABCE/NUyVNWAV86Q/s640/DSC00814.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then thread to pink thread from below the chain into the same hole as the purple thread.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7E-XCXB80ng/UNACcX8qRLI/AAAAAAAABCM/XWHDD2WkTjg/s1600/DSC00815.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7E-XCXB80ng/UNACcX8qRLI/AAAAAAAABCM/XWHDD2WkTjg/s640/DSC00815.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thereafter, thread the pink thread through the hole again from the bottom. This whole process will be threading from the bottom.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--Ldfds8pJe0/UNACekIqxXI/AAAAAAAABCU/hN4CLAh2yyA/s1600/DSC00817.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--Ldfds8pJe0/UNACekIqxXI/AAAAAAAABCU/hN4CLAh2yyA/s640/DSC00817.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Remember the right thread has to be on top the left thread. Thread the purple thread through the same hole as the pink thread.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-md-ngTAqzc4/UNACgS_xNOI/AAAAAAAABCc/0WAT3-rqCyc/s1600/DSC00818.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-md-ngTAqzc4/UNACgS_xNOI/AAAAAAAABCc/0WAT3-rqCyc/s640/DSC00818.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Continue doing threading until the end and the and knot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Nid35TfDlWg/UNAChrQQK3I/AAAAAAAABCk/xYbugdGxzXg/s1600/DSC00819.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Nid35TfDlWg/UNAChrQQK3I/AAAAAAAABCk/xYbugdGxzXg/s640/DSC00819.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
See how I left one hoop and tied the knot in the centre.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C_X72OGMQTE/UNAFCxSXNfI/AAAAAAAABDM/q2GtAEajNtc/s1600/DSC00820.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C_X72OGMQTE/UNAFCxSXNfI/AAAAAAAABDM/q2GtAEajNtc/s640/DSC00820.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut off the excess string.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xvwqu27BDnA/UNAFGwHJprI/AAAAAAAABDU/3buJFa-xGbI/s1600/DSC00822.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xvwqu27BDnA/UNAFGwHJprI/AAAAAAAABDU/3buJFa-xGbI/s640/DSC00822.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nWrDK5X3ZIE/UNAFInbZVmI/AAAAAAAABDc/CjQgBh4foJ0/s1600/DSC00824.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nWrDK5X3ZIE/UNAFInbZVmI/AAAAAAAABDc/CjQgBh4foJ0/s640/DSC00824.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now you are done. Both is done using the same method only different materials. But they both have a different look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LhqhG9M60ao/UNAFLPhx-aI/AAAAAAAABDk/iRRUp_UqriU/s1600/DSC00826.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LhqhG9M60ao/UNAFLPhx-aI/AAAAAAAABDk/iRRUp_UqriU/s640/DSC00826.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If you want to do the dark blue one, just get this cord instead. If you are from Singapore, you can get this at Chinatown at a place called Shino beads for 40 cents.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rWQAYPiE53w/UNAFNDtoXXI/AAAAAAAABDs/c5LFZEZE2cY/s1600/DSC00827.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rWQAYPiE53w/UNAFNDtoXXI/AAAAAAAABDs/c5LFZEZE2cY/s640/DSC00827.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
To add on to this bracelet, I added a small charm to it. Both styles are equally nice. Be creative with the colour. you can us more than two colours. All you have to do is cut different colour threads and just make sure you have to same number of threads at both sides to thread.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vX7Fkd8DRqc/UNAFOmybXeI/AAAAAAAABD0/Ukl59oyKgXU/s1600/DSC00831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vX7Fkd8DRqc/UNAFOmybXeI/AAAAAAAABD0/Ukl59oyKgXU/s640/DSC00831.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
